Description
Soffio S turns a pressure change in the mouthpiece into two distinct, independent and adjustable commands: puffing acts as one switch, sipping as the other. That makes every two-switch interface in the catalogue usable — scan and confirm — with no limb movement at all.
The trigger thresholds are set with two trimmers reachable from outside, over a range starting at 0.2 kPa: low enough to be within reach even with a greatly reduced vital capacity. A replaceable hydrophobic filter protects the sensor from the moisture in the breath, which is the main cause of drift in home-made solutions.
The mouthpiece follows the standards used in rehabilitation, so it can be replaced with disposable ones that are easy to find in any pharmacy.

People with tetraparesis, advanced MND/ALS or high spinal cord injury, with breathing capacity sufficient for very small pressure changes.
