Description
HeadMouse Cam uses an ordinary webcam to follow head movements and move the pointer accordingly. It needs no adhesive markers and no dedicated hardware: it is often the quickest thing to try during an assessment, because it works with what the person already has.
The response curve can be configured independently for the two axes, to compensate for asymmetries in motor control: someone who turns well to the right but struggles to the left can have different sensitivity in each direction. The anti-tremor filter damps involuntary oscillation without the perceptible lag typical of overly aggressive filters.
All processing happens locally and no frame is stored or sent.
