Description
When the remaining strength is no longer enough to press any switch, the ability to contract a muscle voluntarily often remains. Twitch EMG reads the surface electrical activity of that muscle and turns it into a digital command.
The assessment is the delicate part: the kit includes calibration software that shows the signal in real time, helps find the best placement and computes an adaptive threshold that compensates for muscle fatigue over the course of a session. Without that compensation, a sensor set up in the morning becomes unusable by the afternoon.
This is a device that needs support: we supply it only after an assessment agreed with the therapist following the person.
